The Success Story
Born into a Farmer’s family in a village of Assam, she dreams to achieve something big. When people just end up their school and start thinking about their career, she has something else in her mind. something which is big, something which is for her country.
People stop dreaming when they see their family is not going to support them or they don’t have enough money to survive, But she is we can say a born athletic, since schooling she was into sports and love to be a part of it. Whether it is football boxing or athletic.
Das won the inter-district competition and won two Gold medals at the sports meet and many more but her journey doesn’t stop here.
“On Thursday 12 July 2018, she became the first Indian track athlete to hold a global title on winning the Gold medal at the World U-20 Championships 2018 at Tampere, Finland, in Women’s 400m with a time of 51.46 seconds.”
